Polar-class expedition yacht with 40-day autonomy
The SeaXplorer platform was engineered with input from polar expedition operators, and it shows: an ice-strengthened hull, redundant propulsion and engineering systems, 40 days of autonomy, and a 5,000 nautical mile range at economical cruise. She carries a certified helideck, a dive centre with recompression chamber, two 9-metre expedition tenders and a submersible bay. Twelve guests are accommodated in six cabins, with fourteen crew and a dedicated expedition leader's cabin. Currently prepared for a Northwest Passage season.
